Data Fellows Announces Broader Support for Linux

Espoo, Finland, June 24, 1999 - Data Fellows, one of the worlds leading developers of data security software solutions, today announced two new products to further fortify its existing line of Linux-compatible security products.

F-Secure Anti-Virus for Linux, shipping today, provides the users with the best-of-breed, most comprehensive virus scanning and protection system, with automatic scheduled updates through the Internet.

F-Secure SSH for Linux, which has been available for a long time, provides the users with secure login connections, file transfer, X11 and TCP/IP connections over untrusted networks. F-Secure SSH uses the industry-standard SSH2 protocol which is widely accepted as a de facto standard for secure remote administration.

F-Secure NameSurfer for Linux, also available previously, provides network managers with an easy-to-use Web interface for DNS administration, saving time and maintenance resources. DNS translates host names to IP addresses and is a critical component of any TCP/IP based network.

F-Secure VPN+ provides tested interoperability and compliance with the IETF standard IPSec and IKE protocols.
